Join a Class at Aim High Studio
Aim High Studio offers several styles of yoga classes to accommodate your body and mind’s weekly needs. Vinyasa (HOT YOGA), Basic Yoga, Yin & Restorative , TrIII Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
Our Hot Yoga classes are held in 80-85 degrees of heat, in the Vinyasa style of yoga. Integration, standing, balance, backbend, inversion and supine poses are fluidly woven together to build strength, flexibility and awareness. Vinyasa (flow) classes are offered in either 60 or 75 minute classes as well as workshops, which have a specific focus each month.
Basic Yoga is held a comfortable room temperature and is all the goodness of our vinyasa classes with an emphasis on focusing on foundational poses, alignment, and fundamental principles of the yoga practice. This is a slower paced class, perfect for a brand new beginner, those recovering from injuries, post pregnancy or anyone looking for a deliberate, meditative experience.
Yin and Restorative Yoga is a slower-paced asana that enables you to focus on practicing calming the mind and nervous system, enable you to turn inward, and focus on the breath. These classes are gentle and suitable for all levels – from first time on your yoga mat- newbies, to experienced practitioners, to recovering athletes. Yin and restorative yoga is a lovely way to reconnect with your spirit within – when we slow down physically, we have more space to devote internally. TRIII Yoga – This class will blend cardio, weight training and stretching into a set series of asana. TRIII…stands for the three exercise elements which Aim High believes and strongly encourages everyone to make a part of their exercise regimen. Free weights are added to a heated power vinyasa yoga flow creating resistance and intensifying each pose. Strength-training exercises such as squats, lunges, bicep and tricep curls are incorporated to build lean muscle mass while boosting your metabolism. “TRIII” something new…we think you are going to love it!
Yoga Nidra – which literally translates to Yogic sleep. In yoga nidra practice you are lying down and the exercises help you move into a semi-hypnotic state, somewhere between being awake and being asleep. It reduces stress and makes one joyous and peaceful instantaneously. This class is apart of our monthly meditation event. Dates and registration can be found on our Events page.
