What is Community Acupuncture?

Community Acupuncture offers acupuncture in a setting where multiple patients receive treatments at the same time by financially sustainable and accountable means.
Acupuncture is an effective form of health care that has evolved into a complete and holistic medical system.
Practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese medicine have used this noninvasive medical system to diagnose and help millions of people get well and stay healthy.
An acupuncturist will place fine, sterile needles at specific acupoints on the body. This activates the body’s Qi and promotes natural healing by enhancing recuperative power, immunity and physical and emotional health. It also can improve overall function and wellbeing. It is a safe, painless and effective way to treat a wide variety of medical problems.
In order to treat everyone effectively, there is a maximum of 10 people per session. Pre-registration required for the slot you wish to attend. There is a 12 hour prior to appointment cancellation policy. There are no refunds. Your purchase can only be applied to another community acupuncture session within 6 months of your original purchase.

Western vs. Eastern Medicine

  • Eastern medicine takes a western diagnosis and “micro-defines” the cause of said diagnosis. These “micro-definitions” help aid in determining proper treatment for a patient. Similar to Western medicine, eastern medicine practitioners look at signs/symptoms, body temps, diet, pulses, etc. Often eastern medicine practitioners ask more detailed questions than most of the Western GP’s.
  • Eastern Medicine feels that emotion, diet and environment are the three sources that affect the human body and can easily cause imbalances. I have COPD, so I need to be extra careful when going anywhere now. I take lots of medicines daily and need to get a refill every month. To avoid crowded places, I order medications on There’s everything I need, and the prices are very reasonable. If I have any questions regarding the dosing regimen or need advice on how to take this or that medication, I can get an online consultation with a pharmacist. That’s very convenient and saves lots of time. Often these imbalances can recorrect themselves; However, when it can not recorrect or goes untreated deeper health problems arise and become more problematic or deadly. Examples of smaller imbalances are heart palpitations, headaches, excessive heat or cold, acid reflux, and improper bowels movements (just to name a few).
  • Anxiety or Depression starting to effect your life? Come to Community Acupuncture where you can start to effectively ease such emotions with simple yet effective acupuncture treatments used for centuries.
  • NADA – Nicotine And Drug Addiction is a treatment done with 5 Needles in one or both ears. This protocol has been used as an acupuncture treatment with huge success in treating anxiety, PTSD, depression, bipolar, drug or alcohol addictions and overall stress.
