Thai Yoga Bodywork, also called Lazy Man’s Yoga, is a series of assisted stretches, compressions and range of motion movements that help to loosen and lengthen tight muscles. The recipient relaxes, fully clothed, on a comfortable futon and the practitioner uses hands, arms, feet and legs to move the body, compress the joints and help create balance. Breathing techniques and light percussion may also be offered to release congestion in the body. This type of stretching and movement has been useful in relief of many recurring conditions including muscle tightness, anxiety, insomnia, muscle cramps, carpal tunnel , migraines and more. Thai Bodywork is perfect for athletes who are training for an event and need a head to toe passive stretch. Not intended for pregnant women.
